Interview - The D.K. & The Band

We are The D.K. & The Band and we are from Athens Greece. We are friends and musicians and our common favorite music is 50’s Rock ‘n’ Roll – Rockabilly. So we made a band to play our music.

And the members are:
Dimitris Kelenis – Vocals
Nikos Taliadouros – Guitar
Dimitris Bikos –Bass
Vassilis Costeas – Drums
George Lagogiannis - Piano

How do you sound like?
We are musicians with completely different backgrounds (Blues, jazz, country-western, classical, punk) and common components of swing/rockabilly/rock n roll. We move to the fringes of this species, but our sound does not belong exclusively to this species. We try, as much as possible, to present a modern version of what has been preserved in musical memory as "50s" and to creatively add some musical elements that make us more "modern".

Discography
As the leader and singer of the band in this album called ‘’ Too Little Too Late’’

50’s Rock n Roll, Rockabilly, Country music, Blues.

I was in studio recording my new single which is called ‘’It’s Summertime’’ and while I was singing
Someone turn off the lights and I couldn’t see the lyrics so I was in blackout.
