Americana: Etta Place - To Get To You

Etta Place is a project created by songwriter Keith Michael Kallina. 

Keith travelled to the Texas Hill Country in the aftermath of the 2020 shutdown, where he began working with noted producer Dave Percefull out of the famed YellowDog Studios in Wimberley, Texas. Their efforts yielded a ten-track record steeped in smooth guitar and pedal steel, bridging the gap between country and rock n' roll and offering a fresh, creative take on the Americana sound. Keep an eye out for Etta Place songs in the following months!

This is his new single, called To Get To You. I love the pace and the contagious mood (great rhythm section). The song is overall very well performed and it features a quality production and arrangement. It's also very enjoyable from start to finish and with lots of rock elements (guitars, especially).
