Rachel Drew - Summer's Over

Rachel Drew grew up in a musical family on Chicago's north side, singing 3-part harmony with her parents, getting lost in tunes on the family piano, and passionately dancing to dusty classical albums. She's now a mother, a prolific songwriter, a regular in a variety of ensembles and residencies, and a close harmony vocalist on other people's songs.

Rachel published an album of original songs in 2016, and her next album, Old Sky New, will be released in March 2024. Summer's Over, Old Sky New's debut single, is now available.

This is their new and first single off the album, called "Summer's Over". The song starts with a great guitar riff, very retro and with a fantastic sound, followed by very well performed vocals by Rachel. In general, I really like the pace and the mood of the song, very well performed, arranged, produced and enjoyable from start to finish.
