Song of the day: Black Rock Candy - Trouble

"Trouble," Black Rock Candy's latest release, tells a story that far too many people can identify to: the song was inspired by a buddy who had cheated on his girlfriend. Anyone will pay attention to the gritty beginning guitar chords, as the words portray a clear narrative of betrayal. "Trouble" was an eye-opening experience for the band, giving them a new sense of purpose and direction - and eventually discovering some irony: the guy the song was written about enjoys the song and has no idea he's the topic.

Alli Parra produced/directed the film, which was shot at Break Room LA by cinematographer Eric Crain.

I really enjoyed both the video and song, very energetic, with the perfect sound for the genre, catchy vocals (great performance) and no frill old-school rock performance by the band. Trouble features also top-notch riffs and a solid and creative rhythm section.
