Song of the day: The Stemmas - Walking Around

Jerry Conrad, guitarist and executive producer, and lead vocalist Tommy White founded The Stemmas, an emerging independent musical collective. The project began with only a guitar and a hand drum in Tommy's house on Hatteras Lane, but it has since grown and evolved to include an impressive array of renowned artists and collaborators.

The album "Hatteras Lane" was recorded and mixed at Station House Studios in Los Angeles by Grammy Award-winning engineer Mark Rains, and mastered by Grammy Award-winner Howie Weinberg.

This is their new single, called Walking Around. I like the super catchy chorus, the simple and straightforward approach and arrangement. The song has different contaminations, coming from very old classic rock but with a touch of modernity as well. It's also very well performed (check out the guitar solo) and I find it overall very enjoyable from start to finish. Give it a go by clicking on the YouTube player below (the video is very cool as well) and remember to follow The Stemmas on social media.
