With long hair and a piercing look reminiscent of Kurt Cobain, 17-year-old Jack West emerges with a rock 'n' roll rebirth, spinning the old with the new. It's no coincidence that he's performed in front of 30,000 people in Nashville with grunge-rock superstar Eddie Vedder and cooperated with famous Seattle producer Barrett Jones (Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Jawbox) at his iconic Laundry Room Studios. When he was two, his father introduced him to Pearl Jam, and when he was four, he got obsessed with Jim Morrison. Jack quickly retired to his bedroom, where he frantically lay down the piano, guitar, bass, and drum sounds on Logic, finally assembling 18 recordings.
