Marc Miner - Last Hero's Gone

You probably associate country-rock and americana music with North America. So Marc Miner is the European representative. Marc is an international breed with roots in the United States, Germany, and Poland who grew up in Vienna. That's where he formed his first rock & roll, punk, and grunge bands. Marc Miner, a rebellious 16-year-old, left home, travelled half the world, and settled in the American South.

He eventually resided in Vienna after returning to Europe. He performs what he does best here: he plays songs in the good old style of americana music, country-rock, and outlaw country, but with a current attitude, a la Hellbound Glory, Sturgill Simpson, Cody Jinks, Blackberry Smoke, or The Steel Woods. He received the Austrian Country Mucis Federation's "Austrian Country Act Award" in 2020 for his debut album SMILE WHEN YOU'RE WASTED.

This is his new single, called "Last Hero's Gone". I like the pace and the mood of the song, very well performed and produced and with a super catchy chorus. The song is quality, very enjoyable from start to finish, thanks to a superb arrangement, also.
