Advent Horizon is a creative passion project. Advent's mission is to provide a new, fresh sound to the Progressive Rock/Metal world, as created by artist/producer Rylee McDonald and drummer Mike Lofgreen. Advent Horizon's third studio album "A Cell to Call Home" is set to be released in October 2023.

Calling it off is a Progressive Rock/Metal song about learning to put yourself first - realizing that you're better off "going it alone" than continuing to live in a relationship based on codependency and manipulation. This track features an incredible synth solo from Jordan Rudess of Dream Theater."
This is a quality prog metal song, amazingly performed and produced with lots of different themes and atmospheres. It starts really melodic (great drumming and vocal harmonies) and after a great solo it becomes more intense (I love the riffs from 2.50, very Dream Theater).
