Song of the day: Dead Hands - Static Fire

Dead Hands is a Danish rock band created in 2020 by four outstanding musicians who have a love of the genre. Dion Eskegaard is the main singer and guitarist, Simon Bak Agerskov is the backup vocalist and bassist, Louis Nordlund Sørensen is the guitarist, and Jacob Kehlet Pallesen is the drummer. The Silkeborg, Denmark-based band draws inspiration from legendary rock bands such as Queens of the Stone Age, Them Crooked Vultures, Radiohead, and Nirvana. Despite being a young band, Dead Hands has swiftly gained a reputation for their explosive live performances and ability to capture listeners with their strong sound. The band members have a strong musical connection that stems from years of previous collaboration with other bands and projects.

This is their new single, called "Static Fire". I love the guitar riff at the beginning and the general pace/mood of the song, very energetic and very enjoyable from start to finish thanks to catchy vocals (great chorus!) and a perfect production for the genre.
