Song of the day: Nocturnal Animals - Panic Attack

Nocturnal Animals are an Adelaide/Tarndanya three-piece which have already gained significant local support, gaining support slots with the DZ Deathrays, The Buoys, Nerve, and Psychedelic Porn Crumpets, sculpting a solid sound from fuzzy guitars, heavy-handed percussion, and anthemic punk vocals.

After a string of successful singles this is the new single from their awaited debut EP–’Paint A Picture’ (out November 4). The band says about the song: 'Panic Attack' is a song that encapsulates the suffocating feeling of having a 'PANIC ATTACK'. Capturing the grit of 'Rated R' era Queens Of The Stone Age mixed with the melodic earworm of a FIDLAR punk anthem, 'Panic Attack' is the sweet spot for the Punk/Rock fans who love to dance, mosh and sing. We have often been called 'Dance Punk' by media outlets and this is a prime example.

I love the fuzzy riffs, the energetic and creative drumming and the production. The vocals are sometimes very melodic, some others very aggressive but in both moods, they blend completely with the music. This is a very cool song, amazingly performed and produced.
