Song of the day: Spiral Frank - Counter Culture Ultra Vulture

The Spiral Frank sound is anthemic and genuine. Modern alternative music with a foot in the '90s 'Seattle sound' and a foot in the future. Spiral Frank writes songs to be sung loudly when needed. Expect soaring chords, pounding percussion, and nasty bass.

This is their new single, called "Counter Culture Ultra Vulture". The duo said about the song: "We wanted this track to feel fast, filthy, exhilarating and heady. Lyrically I think I wanted to reflect the karaoke culture we live in. Wearing the t-shirt but not really knowing or caring what that means. Perhaps we are waiting for something of substance to hold on to. Something benevolent. A sign that says everything is gonna be all right. Somehow. We just have to wait and watch for it."

I love the sound of the bass and of the guitars, the riff during the chorus, the solo section (great drumming there!) and the robust - but super catchy at the same time - vocals. This is a great song, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and remember to follow The Spiral Frank on social media.
