Shinglers - Bayou Queens

Shinglers began as an unplanned encounter in West Texas between members Jeremy Brandelik and Colton Cerny, who discovered they shared a love of old-school country and cosmic Americana music. A bond was formed after some drunkenly passionate discussions about the qualities of Jerry Jeff Walker, Doug Sahm, Buck Owens, and Steve Young. They teamed up with buddies Kyle Harris and Mississippi Keith Young after another fortuitous meeting in Austin. They began creating songs, fusing their country inspirations with the mind-expanding ideas of old Austin, and swiftly rose to prominence as a powerful live act. The band's debut LP, Cosmic Range Oven, was released on April 13th, 2021.

This is their new single, called "Bayou Queens" and it is about the golden triangle of east Texas.
The song is very easy listening and very enjoyable from start to finish thanks to a very good performance and a quality arrangement (I love the guitars!) and production. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and remember to follow Shinglers on social media.
