Song of the day: Twisted Limbs - Battery

Twisted Limbs existed from 2015 to 2017. Adrien Idiot, Rye Bread, and Donzo were the band's three twisting besties. The band split up before their debut album "Punched in the Face" was released.  It was primal, loose, and all about twisting. Rye Bread (Riley Whelan Taylor) died on March 31, 2022.

Adrien Idiot and Donzo (Donavon O'Leary) collaborated with Dana Wiesbrock to record one of Rye Bread's final songs for Twisted Limbs to remember this beautiful kind-hearted soul. "Battery" was composed during a period of severe depression.

The band seeks to raise awareness and reduce the stigma associated with mental illness and addiction.

I love the pace and the mood of the song and the band's attitude. "Battery" features great and catchy riffs, a powerful and precise rhythm section, punchy vocals and the perfect sound for the genre. If you like Punk Rock, you will love this one. Give it a go through the player below and follow Twisted Limbs.
