High Society - Venom

Danny Snowdon and Cam Krueger, members and long-time friends, created High Society in the aftermath of the pandemic in 2020. The duo establishes a great mix of light and dark, beauty meets chaos, by combining exquisite melodies with crushing distorted walls of sound. High Society draws inspiration from bands such as Nirvana, Basement, Sunny Day Real Estate, and Foo Fighters, and combines sensitive melody with hardcore harmony.

This is their new single, called Venom. "It's about having someone negative in your life and the conflicting feelings of knowing this person is having a negative impact on you but still wanting to be close to them." I love the contagious pace and mood of the song (great riff!), clearly influenced by the 90s, especially in terms of production. This is a very cool song, very well written and performed by the duo.
