ROCK N' ROAD - INTERVIEW


- Hi and welcome to this interview. Tell us about your latest release.
RnR: Hello! Thank you for having us! Our latest release is “Mind over Matter” which is the first song of our creation circle “Midnight Tale” which will be completed by June 2024.
 
- How would you describe your sound?
We strongly believe that our sound could be described as classic/hard rock.
 
- What do you write about?
Up to this point, our songs are inspired by our way of life and we have created a concept that talks about everyone’s journey from his darkness to his light.
 
- What do you listen to when you are home?
Everything! We are not this kind of people stuck in a specific genre of music. Jazz, blues, and classic Rock would be our main genres! Nevertheless, Rock is our choice of expression.

- Your favourite live performance so far?
We think that there is one special performance that took place at “Underground studios”, Athens, Greece. It was about a year ago and the special thing about it was that there was no stage and we were performing amongst our crowd.
 
- Tell us a funny story that happened in studio or on stage
We couldn’t really pick one of our studio moments, as they are all exceptionally weird. As on stage there was a moment where our guitarist Petros, who is often very serious, in a moment of silence, said a funny inside joke, and all of the crowd along with us started laughing hysterically so much that we couldn’t play the next song.
 
- Your favourite albums?
There are so many... Rainbow Rising, Led Zeppelin 4, Heaven and Hell…

- A musician you would like to meet for a beer?
For a beer? Lemmy Kilmister!
 
- What would you ask for backstage, if you were the most important band on earth?
Silence and a bottle of Irish.
