Dethcaps is an indie grunge band from the San Francisco/Bay Area. Their music is straightforward, genre-bending, and, most importantly, loud. The three met in a tattoo shop on Friday the 13th, and they've been best friends since.
This is their new single, called. “
Hide & Seek”. The band wrote about it: "This is a song about the triumphs and heartache of finding oneself. It’s about feeling lost and uncertain about the person you want to be, but hopeful that in the future it will become clear. It’s a conversation with the inner child, reflecting on past mistakes, and being stuck in one’s own head. It details the inner monologue while you’re having a hard time putting your thoughts into words, and having trouble determining what you’re feeling in the first place. The song is like a mission statement, saying that regardless of criticism or pressures, we are still going to be ourselves, and have fun while doing so."
