In early 2017, Ignited began an effort to create basic, dynamic heavy metal songs. The song 'Steelbound' was recorded in August 2019 in São Paulo, Brazil. Following the pandemic, the live CD featuring the band's first concert was published in April 2022, coinciding with the addition of Martin Bellucci as their new bassist.
Throughout the first semester of 2022, the band worked together on the pre-production of their second album. They travelled to Gothenburg, Sweden, in August to record at the famed Studio Fredman, which was run by Fredrik Nordström, who had previously worked with Arch Enemy, Dark Tranquillity, In Flames, Dimmu Borgir, and Dream Evil.
