JED AND THE MICROWAVE - Ahead of the Curve, Behind the Times

Jed and the Microwave is a power-pop project based in Bristol, UK.

The band is inspired by 20th-century hitmakers like The Cars, The Replacements, Phil Collins, and Van Halen, and showcases a unique blend of songwriting styles. The song uses the main singer's worsening mental state to create a raw, Punk Rock-styled Power Pop hit.

This is their new single, called "Ahead of the Curve, Behind the Times". The band wrote about the song: "It channels the stylistic elements of the music of The Cars and Phil Collins into a more guitar centric, raw, riff driven romp of hooks and solos that will wrap around your head like a bandage on the bump on your head".
