LUJURIA - Riding The Tiger

Lujuria is an Argentine power trio that straddles the line between greasy stoner metal and anthemic alternative rock. They create a fascinating combination of raw strength, carnal rhythms, and melodic hooks. Since their debut in 2007, the Buenos Aires-based rockers have progressed from regional troublemakers to festival favourites thanks to a string of high-powered albums such as Hellavodka (2009), Toxikiller (2014), and Sextorsion (2018), the latter of which featured guest appearances from Nick Oliveri of Queens of the Stone Age and Mondo Generator, as well as Jesse Hughes of Eagles of Death Metal.

The first single from the new album, "Riding The Tiger," was released on February 23. I love the groovy bass lines, the dynamic drumming and the contagious mood of the song, with powerful vocals and inspired guitars. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and remember to follow the band as well.
