Paulie Martin - Talk is Cheap (Pink Flamingo)

Paulie Martin is a musician, singer-songwriter, and music teacher living in Mullingar, Ireland. His inspirations span several genres, although his origins are in blues, funk, and rock. Drawing inspiration from Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Gary Clark Jr., Sublime, ELO, The Beatles, Jimi Hendrix, Rory Gallagher, and others.

Paulie began playing guitar at an early age and eventually joined the local performance scene. The original band Ricotta Rojo, which included Gerard Kiernan and Fionn O'Donohoe, provided the first major push. During this time, Paulie began composing and performing as a solo artist, headlining shows and supporting several musicians between the two.

This is his new single, called Talk is Cheap (Pink Flamingo). I love the main guitar riff and the very dynamic and versatile vocals, sometimes funky and rapping, some others very melodic (great chorus). The song is catchy and very enjoyable, with a great rhythm section and a top-notch guitar solo as well.
