Shotgun Mistress - Shot Down

Shotgun Mistress represents aggressive, explosive rock steeped in the distinctive Australian tradition. The band of formed by ex-Akercocke & The Berzerker members: virtuoso Matt Wilcock on guitars, percussive maestro 'Diamond' Dave Lee on drums,  bassist Ben Curnow and charismatic frontman Glenn Patrick.

The band's self-titled debut album peaked at #16 on the iTunes Album Charts, consolidating an ever-growing audience and confirming their status as torchbearers of current Australian hard rock. 

This is their new single, called "Shot Down". I love the guitar riff (what a sound!) and the pure hard rock attitude. Great production and performance for the song, which reminded me of early Skid Row but with a modern twist.
