Song of the day: INVESTIGATOR - Madness

Adrian Drew, a singer/songwriter and producer from New Zealand, created the alt-rock band INVESTIGATOR as a solo project.

The new song "Madness" marks the start of a new and exciting chapter for INVESTIGATOR, and it is the title track of a brand-new double EP that will ultimately be merged to form the entire concept album Myths & Madness. Whereas Madness concentrates on everything that happens on Earth, Myths tells a different narrative about Gods and their human-like flaws. With the follow-up single Tragedy already recorded, each song crafts a realistic picture by intertwining storylines and timeframes, culminating in the ultimate crescendo!

The song starts with a tasty guitar riff, followed by intense vocals. I really like the atmosphere of the verses, culminating in a catchy chorus that will get stuck in your head.
