Bailey And The Bad Habits - Lessons Learned

The Texas-based band Bailey and the Bad Habits combine country rock and blues to create a distinct type of red dirt. Raw lyrics and vocals, deep guitar solos, expressive percussion, and thundering bass combine to produce a well-rounded "no-gimmick" sound.

This is their new single, called Lessons Learned. The song was written by two Dallas TX Area Firefighters detailing the emotions that can be carried home after hours of duty as a first responder. I love the guitar riffs and the overall mood of the song, energetic but also with a lot of melody, with a catchy chorus, in between classic rock, blues and country. A very cool song, amazingly written and performed.
