Clay Melton - The Lottery

Clay Melton is a rising pop/rock performer based in Houston, Texas.

Riding the success of his first album Burn the Ships, which peaked at #5 on the Billboard Heatseekers Charts, Clay and his three-piece band, which includes Raymon Minton on bass/synths and Zach Grindle on drums, have played at clubs and festivals around the United States.

Clay Melton's new single, The Lottery, is an experimental indie rock song that captures his insightful viewpoint on maturing, putting behind previous mistakes, and accepting thankfulness for the actual joys in life.
The song features catchy vocals, inspired guitars and quality arrangement and production. After a slow start, the electric guitars kick in, and the song brings me to 90s vibes and mood.  This is a very cool power ballad, with a beautiful chorus that will get stuck in your head, in between The Calling and Stereophonics, to my ears. I totally recommend The Lottery, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and remember to follow Clay Melton on social media.
