Ian Voltage - Nova

Ian Voltage was founded in Helsinki, Finland in 2019. The band is influenced by classics like Guns N' Roses and Alice In Chains, but they also incorporate some harder elements while remaining true to themselves. Ian Voltage performs funky and heavy, grunge-influenced rock 'n' roll with catchy and melodious choruses. The band released their debut EP "Spring of Turmoil" in 2022, which received rave reviews from numerous music journals.

Ian Voltage recorded new songs in the spring of 2023. "Human-Shaped Shadows" was published as a single on September 8th, 2023, "Fifth Line Gates" on November 3rd, 2023, and "Memoir" on March 20th, 2024. The current lineup is Derek Kinnunen on vocals, Keinonen on guitar and Lasse Heliste plays bass guitar.

Both video and song are quality, with catchy vocals, a simple and straightforward arrangement (good old 90s...) and a great sound as well. The song is very enjoyable from start to finish, and, in its second part, it reminds me of Guns n' Roses, with great vocals and amazing guitar solos (and a great finale too). This is a very cool song. Give it a go, you won't regret it.
