The Retrograde, an American rock and roll band from Tallahassee, Florida, has sprung into the music scene with a new sound that pays homage to the golden period of rock. Joey Fox, the band's frontman and main guitarist, is joined by new guitarist Cade Pickering, bassist Josiah Pye, and drummer Carson Degner. Following their successful inaugural Midwest tour, The Retrograde has swiftly established themselves as a name to watch in the business. The band just completed a big milestone by recording their highly anticipated 10-song album at the iconic FAME Studios in Muscle Shoals, Alabama.
This is I Need a Little, their new single. The song is very easy listening and enjoyable, with a super catchy chorus that will get stuck in your brain and overall amazingly performed by the band. I love the drums, very dynamic and with tasty fills but the entire song is quality from every point of view, with a proper classic rock sound.
