Marco Wriedt, a Pink Cream 69, Ex-Axxis, 21 Octayne guitarist, and Paul Reed Smith Guitars artist, became a professional musician at the age of 19 while touring with Jeff Scott Soto. In 2007, he took the next step by joining the rock band AXXIS. Marco toured Europe with AXXIS, performing at major rock festivals such as Wacken, Masters of Rock, Rock of Ages, Loreley, and Sweden Rock.
In 2010, he also founded his own band, "21 Octayne." 21 Octayne published three albums globally through AFM-Records: "Into The Open" (2014), "2.0" (2015; the song "Tale of a Broken Child" is among my favourite songs of the last decade; here is my playlist), and "Addicted to Thrill" (2016). Some of his inspirations include John Petrucci, John McLaughlin, Neal Schon, Steve Lukather, Brian May, and Steve Howe.
