Grimm Jack has a long history as a hard-driving melodic Rock Band in the New York City music scene. Billy Kohout, the lead vocalist, contributes whiskey-soaked vocals with a hint of southern blues. The guitarists are Joey Masters and Jimmie Mack. The backbeat is provided by GG Zen-Garten.
Knife Fight is their brand new single. The song starts with a powerful riff (I love the sound!) and with energetic vocals. I love the band's no-frills attitude and the mood of the song, aggressive but with lots of melody as well (the chorus is very catchy). The song features a very nice instrumental break (great rhythm section there!) and it's overall extremely enjoyable from start to finish.
