Kyle McKearney - Skeletons (Official Music Video)

Kyle McKearney is a seasoned musician and songwriter who grew up in a small village in northern British Columbia, Canada, surrounded by family and their love of country and bluegrass music. Kyle had the opportunity to travel to Nashville, Tennessee, after high school, where he spent his days immersed in learning how to write traditional Country and Rockabilly tunes.

He returned to Canada and established himself in Calgary, Alberta, where he and his brother Shade formed a band. Kyle then really got down to business, honing his skills in singing, songwriting, and all parts of recording, touring, and performance, which has now turned into a full-time job.

Kyle has worked on a few noteworthy projects over the years, including co-writing a song with Roger Taylor of the legendary band QUEEN, touring the country with Nick Carter of the Backstreet Boys, and earning three Top 20 CHR/Top 40 hit songs on Canadian commercial radio. He has also had songs play in the Top 30 on Pop/Hot AC radio, the Top 30 on Active Rock radio, and has been nominated for a Canadian Radio Music Award in 2017.

Following the release of his third studio album, To The River, and a string of sold-out shows at Calgary’s legendary King Eddy, award-winning Americana artist Kyle McKearney presents the official music video for the album’s centerpiece, Skeletons.

Regarding lyrics, Skeletons is a testament to vulnerability and the transformative strength of unconditional acceptance. McKearney’s vocals are melodic and intense at the same time, and both video and song are pure quality, enjoyable, and with a top-notch production and arrangement (great violins and backing vocals).
