The artist describes it: “There was a bar in East Nashville called The Crying Wolf that I went to a lot when I was recording my album The Madman and the Poet, but it closed down during COVID,” says Currin. “This song is an ode to my old self, this guy I was in my twenties. I’ve been invited out 100 different times in 100 different cities, but I’m an introvert. Playing live has taken some overcoming anxiety and getting out of my comfort zone. I’m like two different people, the performer and the introvert. It’s like a switch when I get off stage and hang out with fans, sell merch, take photos, and give hugs. I can only do it for so long.”
A very cool one, part of my Country Rock American playlist (link below), give it a go and follow Nate Currin on social media.
