Tyler Edwards launched his music career in 2008 as the songwriter and frontman of the South Carolina rock band I Anthem. Over the years, the band released two EPs and an LP, earning multiple Top 10 spots on Billboard’s Rock Charts and gaining exposure through MTV and NASCAR.
In 2015, Edwards parted ways with the group to embark on a solo journey, debuting with the six-song EP Too Young for Love and relocating to Seattle, WA. He quickly built a dedicated local following, leading to the release of his 2016 live album, Live from the Columbia City Theater. A year later, he unveiled his first full-length solo LP, A Few Good Hearts, solidifying his presence as a solo artist.
Edwards’ momentum continued as he sold out multiple Seattle venues and shared the stage with notable acts such as Ian Noe, Will Hoge, Nicki Bluhm, and The Steel Wheels. In 2020, he independently produced and recorded the EP Sincerely, Montgomery. Now based in Northern California, he remains active in the music scene, releasing new material following his 2023 sophomore album, A Falling Sky.
Heroes is the title of his brand new single. I find the song extremely enjoyable, with a super catchy chorus and fantastic production (it was recorded to tape at Welcome to 1979 in Nashville), featuring spot-on guitars and arrangement. A quality song from start to finish, give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below, and remember to follow Tyler Edwards on social media.
