Heavy rotation - October 2021

This was a strange month to me, kind of unusual as I got back to Italy for a full month and I had full access to my collection. Apart from my usual CD collection (that you may know already if you are not new to the channel) I also dug into my way older MC collection, finding incredible things like strange bootlegs, self made compilations and albums I even forgot I had. I shot a video about that and probably you will see it in the next weeks.

Saying all of this, I listened to tons of old stuff but nothing continuously, like I often do. So, for this month the only albums I listened to repetitively were A view from the top of the world by Dream Theater and Sermons of the sinner by KK's Priest (click for the reviews) and the new ones from Jerry Cantrell, Biffy Clyro and Joe Bonamassa, that I'm listening right now.

If you want some names of the old stuff I listened to here we are: Stratovarius, Bon Jovi, Dream Theater, Megadeth, Blind guardian, Annihilator, Faith no more, Guns n' roses, Nirvana, Stone temple pilots, Zakk Wylde, Iron Maiden, Dio, Ozzy Osbourne and Ac/dc. I know, I'm predictable.

You let me know what was in your Heavy rotation for this October, as always.

Giovanni Gagliano

Passionate about music I wrote my first article for "Given To Rock" in 2012, reaching now 30K global followers. I am also a musician, gigging around London.
