The Luka State - Bring Us Down

Four-piece from Cheshire Conrad Ellis (vocals, guitar), Sam Bell (bass, voice), Jake Barnabas (drums), and Lewis Pusey (guitars) are Winsford's The Luka State. The town is known for its salt mine and is located midway between Liverpool and Manchester, where every child dreams of playing music or football. The Luka State, thankfully, picked music. The band transforms this into a working-class vitality in their music, with references to The Clash and The Jam's early work.

This is their new single, called Bring Us Down. The song starts with a contagious groove followed by catchy vocals (in between Oasis and Stereophonics) exploding in an open and anthemic chorus. Check out also the guitar riff during the second verse and the full-on instrumental part before the last chorus. The song is amazingly performed by the band and it's got a great sound.
