Centershift - 9

Onesidezero member Jason Radford founded Centershift out of his artistic desires. Onesidezero created one of the best and most underappreciated Nu Metal albums of the 2000s, according to VH1. A wave of platinum musicians and a sound that influenced an entire generation of music were pioneered by Radford and Onesidezero in the Alternative Rock movement. In addition to creating clever alternative rock that serves as a reminder that rock is still very much alive, this new endeavour wants to convey the thoughts and feelings of his life experience and knowledge. Ted Wenri, formerly of Bemus, plays bass, and Ryan Shane Stuber, formerly of Shuvel, plays guitar.

This is their new single, called 9. The song starts with a hypnotic riff and clean but punchy vocals. Talking about vocals, the chorus is very inspired and catchy and probably it will get stuck in your head for a bit. The song is very well recorded, it's got a great sound and the performance of the band is spotless. To my ears, the song sounds in between Tool and Alter bridge.

Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and don't forget to follow the band as well.
