Obie Award-winning actor and musician John Zdrojeski hails from Brooklyn, New York.
2019 saw the release of his first EP, Primitive, a collection of five songs that spans a relationship's life cycle and pays homage to the music of Nick Drake, Joni Mitchell, and Bon Iver. Misters, Devils, and Virgil Wilde, his upcoming full-length debut, is a hard rock study of white masculinity.
This is his new single, called Snake Oil Strongman. What I like about the song is its contagious groove and the very dynamic vocals (with great backing!), very catchy and amazingly performed by John. The song has also a great production emphasizing the performance of both vocals and instruments, being catchy and radio friendly but at the same time, without losing its rock status.
