Frank Viele - Hearts We Left Behind

Frank Viele began performing as the frontman of Frank Viele & The Manhattan Project, a hot combo of soul and jam grooves that featured a horn section. With Fall Your Way, he shifted to working alone, laying the foundation for each song on the guitar before gradually adding additional instruments to build the ensemble around each song.

“I’ve never taken the easy road musically,” Viele stated. “When you hear Otis Redding’s Blue or Bob Seger’s Night Moves, you feel it. Those songs grab you. That’s what music is supposed to do. That’s what I want to do.” Frank Viele is a tireless musician. Most recently, he performed onstage alongside giants like Lee DeWyze, John Waite, and Zach Myers of Shinedown. Jan. 18 marks the beginning of Frank's 20-city US tour.

This is his new single, called Hearts We Left Behind. The song has a great sound and a contagious groove, it's very enjoyable from start to finish and the vocal performance is very inspired and amazingly performed, between Country and Classic Rock (reminding me of Jon Bon Jovi in his second part of career).
