Brock Davis - Any Lie

Brock Davis is an emotional truth explorer. He delves deeply as a songwriter to produce songs that are genuine, true, and sometimes heartbreakingly beautiful about love, sorrow, and redemption. His music combines current folk's fingerstyle acoustic guitar with roots rock's jangly Telecasters and swirling B3 organ, heavily seasoned with slide guitar and country music's rural settings. Brock, who is currently located in Santa Cruz, California, was up in a tiny mill town close to Vancouver, Canada, and his writing reflects these roots.

This is his new single, called Any Lie, starting straight away with a contagious mood and pace. It’s a track from his latest record, “A Song Waiting To Be Sung” which Americana Highways describes as “a quality country album, with thoughtful emotion, compelling vocals, and vibrant harmonies.” The performance and the production are spot on (listen to the lyrics, also) and the song is very enjoyable from start finish.
