Robert Weston - Gonna Write Me A Drinkin' Song

The Netherlands-born country music performer and songwriter Robert Weston released six singles in 2021 following the release of his debut EP, "FIRST," in 2020. He is working on songs for his debut album with songwriters from Nashville like Arlis Albritton, Dakota Jay, Ryan Kinder, and Will King. In June 2022, producer Kenny Royster (Luke Combs' debut EP) will record the album in Nashville.

Ramblin' Boots, a Dutch country music group, once included Robert. Robert has been touring Europe with this group, and in 2019 they travelled to the United States to open for the West Virginian Davisson Brothers in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina, and Nashville, Tennessee.

This is his new single, called Gonna Write Me A Drinkin' Song. I love the pace and the mood, absolutely contagious from the very first second. The chorus is super catchy, and the performance, (check out the solos!) the sound, and the arrangement are absolutely spot on. If you like the genre, you will love this one.
