Song of the day: Pump5 - Make Me

Pump5 is led by frontman Steven Barnett, who founded the band in 1990 and published their debut album Tour in 2004. Bassist Drew Cates, drummer Andre Bonter (The Poorboys, Lefty), and guitarist Alex Kane (Life Sex & Death, Enuff Z'Nuff) round out the lineup. Following their 2017 album Full Service, "Make Me" enhances their type of rock by combining top-tier production with songs that are at the peak of their creative game. Following the popularity of Full Service, the band traveled and performed alongside other bands such as Bullet Boys, Great White, L.A. Guns, Puddle of Mudd, Ratt, Terri Nunn of Berlin, and others.

This is their new single, called Make Me. I love the mood of the song, amazingly performed by the band and produced, with the perfect sound for the genre. The guitars and aggressive and inspired (I love the solo!), the vocals are melodic but punchy and the rhythm section is very tight and precise. Give it a go by clicking on the Spotify player below and remember to follow Pump5.
