Ty Freeman's musical journey began in his teens, lighting up iconic Liverpool stages such as The Cavern, The Jacaranda, and Zanzibar. From there, he took his sound to the neon haze of Hamburg’s Reeperbahn, busked across Europe’s streets, and ultimately settled in Zurich, where he now leads his own band and runs a studio.
His sound channels the raw power of '60s and '70s blues-infused rock. Ty’s debut single, One Way Love, is a tale of heartbreak, grit, and redemption. Featuring Ian Skelly and Paul Duffy of The Coral and produced by Chris Taylor (The Coral, Blossoms, The Lathums), it introduces a fearless new voice in rock music. The vocal performance is stunning, and the vocal lines are super catchy. I love the guitars (check out the solos!) and the production, powerful and clear, with every instrument in the right place.
A quality song from every point of view, reminding me, for some reasons the band T.Rex. Give One Way Love a go by clicking on the Spotify player below, and remember to follow Ty Freeman as well.
